Ron Larham: Waterlooville, Hampshire, United Kingdom; I am a mathematician by training with a PhD in Functional Analysis, but don't expect me to know much about that it was a long time ago. I have spent the last 30 odd years working on algorithmic design and assessment (including among other things DSP), Applied Probability, Survey Statistics, general Engineering Maths and a bit of Operational Research/Analysis

Long term interests include History of Maths, Science and Operational Research, Naval History, and Visual and Performing Arts.
